Peach Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups canned peaches, drained
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add the sliced peaches, and mix until thoroughly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust, and then dot the top with small pieces of butter.
- Bake for 15 minutes, and then reduce the heat to 375°F and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
